Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance you can see the oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
00331 Possible Causes:
00331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00331 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
