00331 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses or change 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00331 Possible Causes:
00331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00331 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
