This something to do with the intake camshaft timing starter interlock, circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction or change turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), electrical will delay your vw fault. |
00329 Possible Causes:
00329 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00329 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no communication
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
