When you open torque management request input signal a, range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open and wait then intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
00316 Possible Causes:
00316 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00316 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c request a, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
