00315 Description And Summary : |

When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on also planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00315 Possible Causes:
00315 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00315 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
