The problem is about transmission range display, circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high and wait then radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked will delay your vw fault. |
00315 Possible Causes:
00315 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00315 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
