Accumulated in electronic control units so shift lock, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, open circuit . On the other hand intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
00312 Possible Causes:
00312 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00312 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
