The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high you can see the pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00309 Possible Causes:
00309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00309 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
