00306 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'd' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open will delay your vw fault.

00306 Possible Causes:

00306 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00306 Code

  • Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
