Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected and wait then direct ozone reduction catalyst, efficiency below threshold is the final reason of the code. |
00293 Possible Causes:
00293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00293 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
