00292 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance or throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller is the final reason of the code. |
00292 Possible Causes:
00292 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00292 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
