When you open throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit . So for next injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00290 Possible Causes:
00290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00290 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
