The problem is about fuel pump, mechanical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open also data bus powertrain, missing messages is the final reason of the code. |
00290 Possible Causes:
00290 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00290 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
