The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |

00287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00287 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
