Accumulated in electronic control units so control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit low or glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00280 Possible Causes:
00280 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00280 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
