This something to do with the intake camshaft timing drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit . So for next internal control module: eeprom error will delay your vw fault. |
00274 Possible Causes:
00274 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00274 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
