Diameter in engine valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 2, system too lean at idle or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00271 Possible Causes:
00271 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00271 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pump control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
