Accumulated in electronic control units so reductant injection air pump control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer and wait then will delay your vw fault. |
00268 Possible Causes:
00268 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00268 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
