The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed sensor 'b' It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector cylinder 16 (n393), open circuit also please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
00267 Possible Causes:
00267 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00267 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
