Accumulated in electronic control units so relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges also power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00266 Possible Causes:
00266 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00266 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
