The problem is about exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained also data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
00263 Possible Causes:
00263 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00263 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
