The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached or oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00259 Possible Causes:
00259 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00259 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
