When you open system too lean at higher load, bank 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake injector control pressure, too high or cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
00253 Possible Causes:
00253 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00253 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
