00252 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c request b, circuit high and 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00252 Possible Causes:
00252 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00252 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
