Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck open or change hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00248 Possible Causes:
00248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00248 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
