Accumulated in electronic control units so hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low and wait then control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
00246 Possible Causes:
00246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00246 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
