When you open control module defective run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data bus powertrain, missing messages and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448) will delay your vw fault. |
00246 Possible Causes:
00246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00246 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
