This code were stamped on VW Engine case hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
00244 Possible Causes:
00244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00244 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
