Diagnosing engine bar with glow plug indictor light (k29), malfunction message from instrument cluster retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1, system too rich at idle also 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00243 Possible Causes:
00243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00243 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
