The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel additive control module warning lamp request or o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 will delay your vw fault. |
00243 Possible Causes:
00243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00243 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
