00233 Possible Causes:
00233 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 00233 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
