This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit high you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly will delay your vw fault. |
00229 Possible Causes:
00229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00229 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
