This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed torque management request input signal b, range / performance and wait then throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation is the final reason of the code. |
00226 Possible Causes:
00226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00226 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
