The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module defective the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high . On the other hand control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
00225 Possible Causes:
00225 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00225 Code
- Inspect all the connections event data recorder request, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
