The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control or radiator fan 2 (v177), difficulty of movement / blocked is the final reason of the code. |
00223 Possible Causes:
00223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00223 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
