00223 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine torque management request input signal a, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature or tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00223 Possible Causes:
00223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00223 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
