Diagnosing engine bar with generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00222 Possible Causes:
00222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00222 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
