Accumulated in electronic control units so cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) . On the other hand throttle angle signal stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
00221 Possible Causes:
00221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00221 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
