00218 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit or a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00218 Possible Causes:
00218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00218 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
