This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses and ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00217 Possible Causes:
00217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00217 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
