The problem is about coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor hydraulic actuator valve (n331), electrical malfunction or change a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00216 Possible Causes:
00216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 00216 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
