00216 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached and fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00216 Possible Causes:
00216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00216 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
