00213 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil control circuit, open / short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit and wait then generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00213 Possible Causes:
00213 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00213 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
