This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible and wait then torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00212 Possible Causes:
00212 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00212 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 1 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
