Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity also exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00208 Possible Causes:
00208 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00208 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module, coding fault
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
