00203 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing camshaft position signal output, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal you can see the ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00203 Possible Causes:
00203 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00203 Code
- Inspect all the connections park/neutral switch input circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
