00201 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply voltage, open circuit or tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00201 Possible Causes:
00201 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00201 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
