This code were stamped on VW Engine case data bus powertrain, missing message from immobilizer causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground and wait then powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster is the final reason of the code. |
00201 Possible Causes:
00201 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00201 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
