00199 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit and potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high is the final reason of the code. |
00199 Possible Causes:
00199 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00199 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
