Diameter in engine engine torque reduction, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00198 Possible Causes:
00198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 00198 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from diagnostic interface-control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
