The problem is about please check dtc memory of adr control module to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high or evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
00189 Possible Causes:
00189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00189 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
