Staring in engine intake air heater "a", circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed sensor 2 for hydraulic pressure in transmission, open or short to b+ you can see the data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2 will delay your vw fault. |
00186 Possible Causes:
00186 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00186 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
