When you open valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle position output, circuit high and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00184 Possible Causes:
00184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00184 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
