The problem is about powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake system too lean at higher load, bank 1 and wait then power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00184 Possible Causes:
00184 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 00184 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
