This something to do with the intake camshaft timing a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit also exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
00183 Possible Causes:
00183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00183 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 10 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
