When you open reductant injection air pump control, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high or change cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
00181 Possible Causes:
00181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00181 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
