The problem is about engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity . So for next event data recorder request, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00181 Possible Causes:
00181 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00181 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
