Staring in engine coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high or change evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00180 Possible Causes:
00180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00180 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
