This code were stamped on VW Engine case coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high and wait then starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) will delay your vw fault. |

00176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00176 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
