Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open or evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00174 Possible Causes:
00174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00174 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
